What size is it, and where can I hang it?
Five feet tall and about seventeen inches wide. It hangs from a branch, a porch beam, a pergola or a swing set, and two extension ropes are included so you can raise the hang point on a tall branch. The swing height is adjustable.
Does the timer mean I never have to touch it?
That's the idea. It has a built-in timer, so once you set it on the first night it comes on and shuts itself off on its own. The wireless remote is there for when you want to override it from the porch.
How long does setup take? Do I need tools?
About fifteen minutes and no tools. The ghost head arrives pre-assembled with the fabric and transparent line already attached — you tie the swing, stick on the eyes, drop in the batteries and you're done. A second pair of hands helps if you're going high into a tree.
Can it stay outside in wind and rain?
Yes. It's built for outdoors, with weather-resistant fabric and a waterproof battery box, and the swing is what lets it move with the wind instead of tangling. Like any fabric decoration, bring it in ahead of a real storm.
